As a Test Iowa site, Summit is making COVID-19 test kits available to our families and staff. Summit will NOT be performing testing with these kits or analyzing the test. Individuals can pick up a test kit at Summit to take home and collect themselves. Email Larisa Bickel to request a kit(s) at any time to have on hand as a proactive measure.
Individuals will need to register the test kit at www.testiowa.com or by calling 1-833-286-8378 if you do not have a computer. Test results will be e-mailed to the account listed when registering the kit. Results will not be received by Summit.
The individual is responsible for getting the test kit to the State Hygienic Lab (SHL) by one of the following methods:
  1. Kits can be shipped by UPS to the State Hygienic Lab (SHL). Each kit will come with everything needed to mail it back including the prepaid label. Open this link for a shipping location: https://www.ups.com/dropoff/?loc=en%20_US
  2. Kits can be dropped off directly to the State Hygienic Lab at 2490 Crosspark Road, Coralville, IA 52241. Sample Receiving Window Hours: M-F 7:00am-5:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-Noon; and closed on Sunday.
  3. Drop off completed Test Iowa kits at Linn County Public Health for delivery to the State Hygienic Lab (SHL). Use the brown containers in the 1st floor lobby under the window. Kits must be packaged per directions included in the kit. A courier will arrive every day Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm for delivery to SHL. Kits must be dropped off by 2:00pm for same day delivery.
