Summit Highlights

  • Early Childhood Enrollment

    Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, & Kindergarten

You will find our youngest learners at Summit busily engaged in everything from sharing their favorite books during a collaborative author study with families, to building a castle in their dramatic play center, to documenting pumpkin seed growth in our school garden. Our play-based education may look like a lot of fun to a classroom visitor—and it is. We have, in fact, become educational architects at Summit, building a learning model that supports a spectrum of development. We believe that any journey of self-discovery is best undertaken through active inquiry and exploration, and we look forward to sharing this philosophy with Summit families.

    Primary Enrollment

    1st & 2nd Grade

Summit’s enrollment process is about building a relationship — giving your family an opportunity to get to know the school and its community deeply; and giving us a chance to get to know your whole family. Our goal is to assist you in the exciting and sometimes daunting task of choosing an educational community that is the best fit for both you and your child.

    Intermediate Enrollment

    3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade

Summit’s Intermediate Program is a natural outgrowth of the bold questions, deep relationships, and creative problem-solving nurtured in our Early Childhood and Primary programs. In the upper grades, students will encounter challenging coursework worthy of their intellectual curiosity, and respond by applying the powerful imaginations and solid academic skills they’ve cultivated in the younger years.
